THE VALUE OF USED cars is set to stay strong in 2014 following a rise in values this year, according to the latest analysis of the market. The latest report by British Car Auctions shows that compared to last year, new-to-market car values are around 15% higher than this time last year while older part-exchange cars are as much as 20% higher than a year ago. The North American International Auto Show kicks off this week. Tomorrow (Monday 11th January 2010) sees the opening day of the 2010 Detroit Motor Show (North American International Auto Show), the first major car show of the season, so we thought we ought to do a quick round-up of some of the cars you’re likely to see. One of the big domestic showings will be the Cadillac CTS-V Coupe, the super-quick coupe version of Cadillac’s super saloon.
McLaren is producing a 12C model that will slot in between the “basic” 12C and the all-out racing GT3 version called the 12C GT Sprint. It will be a track-focused supercar with enhanced suspension, cooling and aerodynamics. The GT Sprint starts with the basic McLaren 12C.
